Palisades Mountain Hosts

Palisades Mountain Hosts can be found throughout the village and on-mountain throughout your stay to answer any of your questions or simply point you in the right direction - just look our for their bright yellow jackets. A couple of days a week they also host free mountain tours for intermediate and above skiers/riders.

Snowshoeing

Enjoy a scenic stroll through the valleys with unforgettable views of Lake Tahoe. You can sign up to a group or private snowshoe tour at Alpenglow Expeditions located in the Village at Palisades Tahoe. 

Cross-country Skiing

With the largest collection of cross-country ski areas in North America, Lake Tahoe is a fantastic place for all ability levels. 

Snow Tubing

Huge fun for the entire family, you will enjoy cruising down the snow slopes on custom-made snow tubes! Two tubing lanes are maintained, providing tubers with a variety of thrill levels. Suitable from age four upwards, the snow tube park is located at the SnoVentures Activity Zone. Open from 10am until 3pm, guests are advised that tubing operations may have to close in adverse weather conditions, and that sessions may sell out.

Olympic Museum

The Olympic Museum, located at High Camp, showcase's Palisades Tahoe's unique collection of memorabilia from the 1960 Winter Games including authentic team USA uniforms and the hockey stick & puck. You can also enjoy a 5 minute historical film looking back on the event.

Palisades Yoga Studio

Take some time out to relax, rejuvinate and prepare your body for your next day of adventures at the Palisades Yoga studio located on First Street within the Village at Palisades Tahoe. Classes run all year round and can be pre-booked online. Private sessions are also available for booking.
