"Klosters is a quaint village with a welcoming atmosphere and stunning scenery. With its royal connections there’s a quiet, understated glamour to the resort but without anyone feeling the need to show off. My favourite run is from Weissfluhgipfel all the way back to Klosters (12km). I highly recommend a stop at the Berghaus Alte Schwendi for a drink – whether you’re out on the sun terrace or inside the cosy Alpine hut, it’s a must-visit when in Klosters. "

Après-Ski in Klosters

Klosters has a largely refined and low key nightlife which revolves around pleasant hotel bars, although there are a few more lively venues too. The Seven WunderBar at the Seven Alpina Boutique Hotel is a popular spot with its sun terrace. As you come off the slopes, there's regular live music and DJ sets making this an ideal place to finish off your day in style.

For a classy piano bar you can’t do much better than the Chesa Bar where you’ll be entertained by a pianist on the superb Bösendorfer grand piano. Gene Kelly is rumoured to have tap danced on the bar here.

For late night dancing head to the Casa Antica night club with electronic music until the early hours.
