Arosa-Lenzerheide Ski Holidays

Get ready to discover one of Switzerland’s hidden gems. Snow-sure slopes, an extensive ski area with over 225km pistes to explore, plenty of gastronomic mountain restaurants and a state-of-the-art lift system. What’s not to love? Throw in excellent quality accommodation and easy links to Zurich Airport and you’ll be questioning why you haven’t been here before.

Explore the slopes

This ski area has something for everyone. From gentle blues and cruising reds to challenging blacks, skiers of all abilities will feel right at home here.

Originally two separate ski areas, the impressive Urdenbahn cable car now provides a seamless link between the slopes of Arosa and Lenzerheide. Not only does the cable car unlock many kilometres of additional slopes, the views over the pristine landscape as you travel make the cable car journey worthwhile in itself. The slopes of Arosa are easy to navigate with seemingly endless runs stretching out before your eyes. In Lenzerheide the pistes rise above the Heidsee lake on both sides of the mountain with a two-way chairlift providing the crucial link between the two.

Enjoy the resort

The ski area links the two destinations of Arosa and Lenzerheide, both original resorts in their own right.

Arosa is an upmarket but relaxed destination centred around the Obersee lake. With an altitude of 1800m the lake often freezes in winter and transforms into an open-air playground to enjoy. Arosa offers an excellent choice of accommodation as well as a small collection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Lenzerheide has a traditional Swiss feel with the resort’s shops, bars and restaurants spread out along the main street. The neighbouring satellite village of Valbella is a 5-minute drive from Lenzerheide with a frequent bus service linking the two.

Where to stay

You’ll find an excellent range of accommodation in Arosa-Lenzerheide to suit all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a luxury 5-star hotel, a full-service holiday resort or a simple hotel with great service, we’ve got you covered.
