Crans Montana Ski Holidays

With a fantastic ski area, an excellent range of activities to enjoy, some of the best views you’ll find anywhere in the Alps and the warmest of welcomes, Crans Montana is a hard destination to beat. Swiss hospitality is renowned the world over and the superb range of accommodation, bars and restaurants in this extensive resort really delivers on this front. With its proximity to Geneva Airport, south-facing slopes and quality hotels, should Crans Montana be your next ski holiday destination? Absolutely!

Enjoy the Slopes

One of the most striking features of the Crans Montana ski area is the amazing vista afforded at almost every opportunity. The breathtaking panorama over the Swiss Alps includes the iconic peaks of both the Mont Blanc and Matterhorn and will never fail to amaze you. With most of the ski area south facing, you’re never far away from an inviting restaurant sun terrace where you can kick back with a delicious local wine and just take it all in.

Beginner skiers are very well catered for with a dedicated ski area on the famous Omega Masters golf course. Here you’ll find gentle slopes and special beginner lifts all within easy reach of the town centre. Intermediate skiers will enjoy exploring the 140km of fantastic groomed pistes with an excellent number of red slopes and more advanced skiers can check out the extensive itinerary runs.

Enjoy the Resort

As the name suggests, Crans Montana is made up of two smaller sub resorts – Crans and Montana. Both hubs offer a good range of accommodation, shops, bars and restaurants and are served by an excellent free bus service linking the two (no more than a 5 minute drive between the two centres). Both hubs have dedicated ski lifts meaning you can get up on the mountain easily no matter where you stay.

Both Crans and Montana have a central semi-pedestrianised street lined with a good number of shops and boutiques. The destination is well set up for non-skiers and offers an excellent range of fun activities including curling, indoor climbing, tennis and even a casino. You’ll find a perfect blend of traditional Swiss chalet charm combined with modern facilities throughout the resort.

Where to Stay

Crans Montana has an excellent range of accommodation options to cater for every taste and preference. We’ve hand selected the best hotels to ensure you have a fantastic holiday. So whether you’re looking for slopeside convenience, a hidden Alpine retreat or a modern hotel in the centre of town, we’ve got the perfect hotel for you.
