Dining in Alta Badia

Alta Badia is proud of its cuisine and hospitality and you won’t be disappointed by the culinary options available. On the slopes, look out for the mountain restaurants involved in the “Sciare con gusto” (Skiing with flavour) initiative, where you will find top quality gourmet dishes on offer, designed by some of the finest chefs in Italy. Our particular favourite was Ütia de Bioch.

San Cassiano

The dining options at the Hotel Ciasa Salares come highly recommended. Check out the intimate wine cellar where you can enjoy a meat fondue whilst sampling some excellent wine. There is even a cheese room and chocolate room where you can organise a tasting. If you're looking for some authentic Japanese cuisine, head to the newly renovated Hotel Aman Rosa Alpina where you can sample a delicious multi-course tasting menu.

Corvara

Restaurant L’Ostí offers upmarket dining in a modern setting, Burjè 1968 offers excellent upscale tasting menus in an elegant dining room and if you’re looking for Michelin-starred dining, La Stüa de Michil should be top of your list. For something more traditionally Alpine, the restaurant at the Berghotel Ladinia is a great choice with excellent quality local produce offering good value for money.

La Villa

The restaurant at the Hotel Majun comes highly recommended by the Ski Independence team and serves local specialities using seasonal ingredients.
