Few ski areas have a backdrop quite like Lake Louise, with 4,200 acres of terrain surrounded by the dramatic peaks of Banff National Park. Around 45% of the runs are intermediate, with long, groomed cruisers on the front side of the mountain. More confident skiers can tackle the famous Men’s Downhill World Cup run or head into the Back Bowl for steep chutes and powder. The new Richardson’s Ridge Express also opens up gentler green and blue runs, meaning the mountain’s layout offers a route for different abilities from every chairlift.
