Meet Our Team

Having had tiny skis strapped to my feet from as soon as I could walk I fell in love with skiing. As a family we grew up going skiing every Easter – with Avoriaz being our place of choice on many occasions – and upon finishing University I knew I wanted to get the most out of this amazing sport and get a couple of seasons under my belt. My first was part of a year spent in New Zealand where I worked at The Remarkables and second was in the backcountry haven of Sainte Foy in France.

Interesting fact:

Throughout my school years I trained in ski racing on the dry slopes at Bellahouston in Glasgow with my first race being a true Scottish experience at the Nevis Range in blistering wind and hail stones.

What inspires you?

I absolutely love watching any kind of ski racing on TV whether it’s the Winter Olympics or any downhill competitions that are on throughout the season. Getting to watch the best skiers in world makes me want to constantly improve my technique and ability and by always being passionate about it I hope I also encourage other people take it up. There’s nothing better than being in the mountains!

What's your favourite resort, and why?

I’m finding it hard to choose between Val d’Isère and Avoriaz – they are so different but so good for alternate reasons! Val d’Isère with its amazing, world-class skiing and incredible après scene really gives you the best of both worlds, but I have such fond memories of growing up and learning to ski in Avoriaz that it always springs to mind when someone asks me this question. I went back to Avoriaz with my family last season and it really reminded how great it is – whether you want a day of challenging yourself on some of the hardest runs in the Portes du Soleil or cruising around some gentle blues in the sunshine this resort has it all.

My next trip:

I'm heading back to Chamonix in the spring. I love it there! The town has a real buzz about it and there's a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars to choose from so it's just an all round great holiday destination.
