Travelling on LeShuttle

The LeShuttle terminals are easy to find thanks to direct motorway links.

In the UK: take the exit at junction 11A of the M20 near Folkestone straight to the check-in booths.

In France: just outside Calais, take junction 42 of the A16 motorway and the slip road takes you straight to the check-in booths.

Check-in

Please check in at least 60 minutes before your booked departure time.

Self check-in is the easiest way to start your journey and only takes a few moments. When you arrive at check-in, stop at the kiosks located before the main booths and follow the step-by-step instructions displayed on the touch screens. You will need your LeShuttle confirmation number, which is noted on your Ski Independence holiday itinerary to complete the check-in process.

Once through check-in, you can either choose to visit the Passenger Terminal Buildings for a spot of shopping and a refreshment stop or drive straight through to border controls where your passport, vehicle and official documentation (including insurance) will be checked.

Drive on/drive off

Boarding and disembarking is simple and safe – you will be directed by LeShuttle staff.

What to expect during your journey

Passengers stay with their vehicle throughout the journey in bright, air-conditioned carriages. Sit back and relax, or get out and stretch your legs. The visual display screens offer information about your journey and onboard staff will be happy to answer any questions.

Please note that if you plan to travel with a pet, strict rules apply. Please visit the gov.uk website for more information.
