Overview
The impressive new Hotel Canoe & Suites sits opposite the Canalta Lodge and the new Moxy Banff at the start of Banff Avenue. With the addition of the new Otter Hotel later this year this part of Banff Avenue is fast becoming a new boutique hotel hub for the town. The hotel features a range of accommodation including traditional hotel rooms,open-plan suites and condos. All rooms come with a mini-fridge, microwave and sink. We love the top floor Mountain View King Suites - spacious, well-equipped and with a stunning view of the Rockies from your balcony. With a design that extends the natural landscape of Banff into its lobby and rooms, the Canoe combines an authentic mountain experience with a genuine outdoors vibe. There's a really good restaurant and bar (Sudden Sally), outdoor hot pools and a fireplace.
The regular free ski shuttle picks up across the road at the Canalta Lodge, offering easy access to Banff Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise.
