"Panorama is hard to beat following the monstrous 128 acre expansion of Taynton Bowl, bringing four additional double black diamond runs. This terrain is the kind dreams are made of - heliskiing, but without the helicopter! "
Panorama Ski Holidays
It’s easy to see why Panorama is one of British Columbia's most popular ski holiday destinations. It perfectly blends the intimacy of a relaxed ski-in/ski-out resort with the adventure of wide open spaces and endless mountain vistas.
Explore the slopes
Panorama’s quiet ski slopes are a dream for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Beginners can master the basics on wide, gentle slopes and enjoy lessons with the resort’s fantastic ski school, while families love the lack of lift queues and the easy access to the slopes – 75% of which are suitable for beginners or intermediates.
While this is a lovely hassle-free resort for novices and younger skiers, we think Panorama really comes into its own with its vast ski terrain. Featuring a dizzying 4,265 vertical feet and 2,975 acres of uncrowded slopes, you can experience that exquisitely remote backcountry feel without heading off-piste into unpatrolled terrain. The former heli-skiing area of Taynton Bowl is the jewel in Panorama’s crown. Now accessible by lift, it’s the place to go for exhilarating black diamond runs, hidden powder stashes and that intoxicating top-of-the-world feeling. Several days a week you'll be able to ride the snowcat from the Summit Hut out round the edge of Taynton Bowl to the summit of the Goldie Plateau at 8,038ft for access into some of Canada's best inbounds freeride terrain.
Enjoy the resort
Laidback Panorama is one of the most convenient mountain resorts in our Canadian selection. From cosy ski-in/ski-out accommodation to a wonderful choice of low-key shops and eateries right on your doorstep, this scenic village is the perfect place to relax. While the atmosphere in Panorama is undoubtedly chilled out, there are plenty of high-octane activities on the menu. Think cat rides, heli-skiing, snowmobiling, fat biking and night skiing. Or if you’d rather sink into the unhurried pace of Panorama life, why not try a moonlit snowshoe hike, a spin around the outdoor ice rink or a blissful soak in the resort’s slopeside hot pools?
As evening falls, unwind in one of Panorama’s inviting bars and eateries. From casual log smokehouses serving delicious local meats and craft beers to elegant restaurants with contemporary Canadian menus and beautiful mountain views, there’s a great choice of welcoming après-ski options.

Activities in Panorama
Panorama is a purpose-built mountain resort with a range of great activities on offer, from unique to main stream, and from full-on adventurous to fully relaxed. Here's a selection of what's on offer:
Nordic skiing
The Panorama Nordic Centre at Greywolf offers more than 20kms of professionally prepared ski trails for the cross country ski enthusiast. Tickets and rentals are available from guest services in the day lodge,
Snowshoeing
Snowshoes allow you to float on the top of deep snow, making walking in the forest in winter-time easier. It's super-easy to learn and there's a variety of trails to try on your own throughout the resort. We can also offer guided activities and rentals. When the conditions are right this can be a fantastic experience - a nice gentle activity for that non-ski rest day.
Fat biking
Winter fat biking in Canada is very popular. Think sturdy mountain bike with over-sized fat tyres to help glide over the snow. We can offer rentals from the Nordic Centre at Greywolf and there's a trail network for you to explore throughout the resort and down valley.
Outdoor pools
All Panorama lodging guests have exclusive access to the beautiful Panorama Springs pool complex. You'll find a choice of hot and cold swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, and locker rooms with changing facilities. This is a fantastic facility that helps differentiate Panorama from other resorts.

It's a long day until I arrived at the resort but worth it, as Panorama is a fantastic resort with a great bonus of the Friends of the Panorama mountain hosts. Hardly any lift queues and plenty of varied terrain to ski. The only slight downside is the small number of restaurants/bars in the evening. I will be booking to return in 2025.
