What incredible scenes in the Alps right now! The much anticipated storm delivered massive quantities of snow, right down to lower levels, at the end of last week.

Les Arcs and Val Thorens recorded 50–90cm of new snow, Verbier and Zermatt are sitting comfortably on well over a metre of fresh, and in Chamonix and Megève the treeline has been smoothed over beneath a deep, mid-winter cover.
