Activities in Revelstoke

Revelstoke is a mountain town like no other. As you'd expect, it has a full range of the usual winter activities including Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Where it comes into its own though is with the more advanced on-mountain activities. here's two of the best:

Heliskiing with Selkirk Tangiers Heliski

Selkirk Tangiers Heliski has a ski tenure encompassing a staggering 500,000 acres of pristine ski terrain in the Selkirk and Monashee ranges. With average annual snowfall anywhere between 40 and 60 feet, this is Revelstoke's premium powder stash. Based at the Coast Hillcrest Hotel just outside the town of Revelstoke, a typical 1Day heli package will include breakfast, powder ski or board rentals, full safety briefing and avalanche transceiver training, ACMG/IFMGA certified ski guides, all safety equipment, insurance, on-mountain lunch, apres ski snacks, and a variety of runs/vertical dependent on the package (there's multiple packages to choose from, depending on your budget and experience). Cat Skiing

Cat skiing is a variation on the same theme - but the ski terrain is accessed by snowcat (rather than by helicopter).
