Activities in Alpe d'Huez

You'll find a range of activities available in Alpe d'Huez. There's an outdoor ice rink where you can give skating or curling a try or you can have a go at toboganning with a virtual reality mask.

The Alpe d'Huez Ice Caves at 2700m are also highly recommended. A magical grotto of glistening sculptures and fairytale figures, expert ice sculptors create an exhibition around a different theme every year. The Grotte de Glace can be found at 2700m and access is via the Grandes Rousses (DMC) cable car.

Taking the cable car to the top of the Pic Blanc is well worth a visit on a fine day even for non-skiers as the views at 3330m are unbeatable.
